We love the local castle museum.
The castle dates from the Norman conquest and is now a wonderful municipal style museum with a little bit of everything. A great spot for some cold/wet weather jumping about. The membership scheme also means it's cheap to visit most times we pop 'up the city'. In the basement there are a number of groovy interactive items for the kids to get their hands on.

We're back!

Look, our camera broke last August so we sent it away to be assessed and they tried to charge us a tonne of cash to repair it. We then did some research and found a load of great cameras for really good prices so we should have bought one of those. But no, we sat on our hands for ages until last week when we finally just went onto amazon and got a great deal on a canon thingumyjig.
